Diva's Favorite Cartridge Spotlight #3

Hi Everyone,

It's Pat from Pat's Scraps, and I'm happy to be at Die Cuttin' Divas today to spotlight one of my favorite Cricut cartridges, Forever Young!

As you can see, this cart has 20 silhouette models in different outfits, lots of images of girly stuff, great phrases, and flowers. And you can also make some 3-D items. There are four different styles of purses available on this cart!! The creative features include: Layer, Emblem, Tag, Word, Purse, and Shadow.

Let me show you what I've made with this cartridge.
A birthday card for my young adult niece.

These little 3x3 note cards were made for a friend's birthday (aren't these cuts just the cutest?!?).

They fit perfectly into this!
This is one of the 3-D purses you can make. It was easy to put together.

Two different pairs of shoes are found on pg. 54 and pg. 60.

More shoes, only cut a bit larger!

These silhouette heads were cut using the Emblem creative feature. I actually used the cut-out image and adhered it to cardstock I cut with an oval punch.

This card really shows the nice lettering that's available on the cart. Other words include: style, chic, glamorous, attitude, glam, trendy, style, vintage, gorgeous, glitz, vogue, and many more!

If you don't have Forever Young, you might think about adding it to your collection.

Glad you stopped by today. There's still time to enter this week's challenge which is to use:

Diva's Favorite Cartridge Spotlight #2

Hello my friends! It's Patty!

I'm here today at the Die Cuttin' Divas blog to showcase a cartridge that I recently purchased a month ago and have been dying to finally try it out. This cartridge has so many adorable images, which go perfectly for baby shower party decor, invitations, layouts, and more. This cartridge is perfect for those who are becoming first time mommies. I am not a mommy yet, but hopefully one day I will be blessed with a family. For now, I enjoy creating cards for friends of mines who are blessed with a new addition to their family.  This cartridge has adorable baby boy and baby girl cuts, as well as things that babies need.

Diva's Favorite Cartridge Spotlight

Welcome!
Today we are trying something new here at Die Cuttin' Divas. We are spotlighting a Diva's favorite cartridge and Candy agreed to go first. We hope you enjoy!

Hey everyone, it's Candy!
I'm here today at the Die Cuttin' Divas blog to showcase a cartridge that is a favorite of many crafters, Create a Critter. This cartridge is so versatile and not to mention so super cute!! There is everything from dinosaurs, insects, puppies and kittens and every critter in between. There is something for every occasion and holiday. Not to mention it layers so easily. That was very helpful when I was starting out making cards.

Here are some of the cards I have made with this great cartridge:
Click on any of the pics to go to the original post. I apologize, some of these cards were made when I first started blogging, so I didn't list the sizes in the post. For standard A2 size cards most images can be cut between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2, depending on the look you are after.

This first card is recent for a challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas-Squirrel Appreciation Day. She was cut at 3 1/2 inches.

This little dino card was the second card I ever made.

My co-worker(Laurie) gave me some of my favorite candies, so I made this little card to thank her.

This one for my daughter Carlie.

This little bear was for hubby. My first attempt at a masculine card. It needed buttons for sure. LOL!
I made this little card for my "niece" Amy. She loves cows

I made this one for my Bestie Bonnie! Little bears cut at 3 inches. I love this little panda.

This little puppy was cut at 2 1/2 inches. For my brother Chris.
Brothers, Sisters, Mothers, Fathers, Friends, Co-workers, Children. This cartridge is for everyone! Create a Critter is a card maker's go-to cartridge. You will never get bored with this one. I hope you enjoyed my showcase today.

Don't forget about our weekly challenge. You still have time to enter the Pick Two Colors challenge and we have a great sponsor, Cute as a Button, this week.

Take Care and Keep Creating,
Candy
