A *Bonus* Challenge to kick off our blog!

Good Morning ladies!! :) I hope everyone is as excited to get going on our new challenges are we are! We were originally scheduled to post our first challenge on February first but decided to get the ball rolling and start everyone off with a little pre-kick-off *bonus* challenge!

This has been a long & dreary winter in our part of the world, and i'm assuming many others! So we're going to brighten things up with some fun winter cards!!

First Ever DT Call!

Who: We are excited to introduce you to a new & exciting challenge blog called "Die Cuttin' Divas"! Our blog is a "die-cutting" challenge blog for *any* die-cutting machine! Whether you have a Cricut baby bug, expression, cuttlebug, the sillouette, mm slice, etc.. you're encouraged to participate & join in the fun!! The weekly challenge will be posted every Tuesday, and will be a general challenge, (ie: use a baby cut, make a shaped card, etc..) They are not tailored to any certain machine or cartridge, so all are welcome to play along!

When: We will accept applications (worldwide) until January.15th, 2011. We will make our decision then contact the 4 lucky new DT members by January 22nd with your first assignment!!

What: Now in order to get our blog going & the inspiration flowing like milk & honey, we are looking to bring on 4 creative designers for our first 6 month term!!!

What's expected of our DT members:

1. Complete one weekly card(and/or) project challenge for our blog.
2. Comment on particpants entries as time allows.
3. Get your cards/projects in on time each week.
4. An active & current blog.
5. Weekly check-in on our DT message board.

What's in it for you:

1. A chance to show off your creativity.
2. A chance to inspire others!
3. A chance to be part of a new & exciting Design Team & unique challenge blog!
4. Your name, blog link, & photo on our blog!

Welcome

Welcome to Die Cuttin' Diva's, the newest weekly card challenge blog!  We will be getting things started here on February 1st, 2011 and we would LOVE it if you could join us.

Here's a little bit about how the challenges will work:

1.  Each Tuesday a new challenge will be posted.  The first Tuesday of the month will be a sketch challenge followed by various die cut challenges (example; use a baby themed cut, use a heart cut etc. )

2.  All card entries must contain a die cut from which ever type of machine you have (Cricut, Slice, Sillouette, Cuttlebug etc) and meet the criteria of the challenge.
3.  Each month a random winner will be chosen from all the entries over the 4-5 weeks, the more you enter the more chances you have to win. What will the winner receive? Not only will you win a prize, you will also have the opportunity to guest design during the third week of the following month.

The goal of this blog is to help you utilize your cutting machines by giving you motivational challenges, to meet new scrappers and friends and to have loads of FUN!
